Episode 126

Sean Antony: The one with the Trip-Up Telemetry!

In ep 126 of “How Do You Say That?!” sponsored by britishvoiceover.co.uk, Sean Antony joins Sam and Mark to talk about the difference between traditional and modern e-learning, what happens when you demonise a word, why offering up choices to a director is a good idea, creating a character from a picture and we play with a wide ranging set of accents... some with more success than others!

Our VO question this week is all about how to market yourself differently but effectively!

Get involved! Have you got a Wildcard suggestion that we should try or an idea for the show? Send it to us via Mark or Sam's social media or email it directly to podcast@britishvoiceover.co.uk

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining us today. In this training session, we're going to review the basic functionality of your Coast telemetry portal, including setup, vehicle tracking, and dashboard reporting. This session is great for first time users as well as users who are in the process of setting up their portal and need a refresher on some of the functionality. By attending this session, you will understand how to configure your portal and use meaningful data to reduce the operational costs of your fleet.

Hello. Sorry to barge in, but I thought I would come over and introduce myself.

My name is Miles, and I own the General Shop.

You did such a great job repairing Lacy's shop. If you could lend me a hand, I'd be very grateful!

Thank you so much! It's wonderful!

I sell a wide selection of furniture as well as other odds and ends.

The higher your village level, the more items you can buy from my shop!

Don't be a stranger! Stop by anytime!

We'd love your feedback - and if you listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, hit the follow button today!

About our guest:

Sean Antony is a full-time voice artist of seven years, self described part-time pillock and podcaster! He harnesses his punk attitude to be enthusiastic about everything to give his projects something extra.

He got into VO because he was worried he would be too shy to talk at his own wedding... but before coming to the voice industry, he had many jobs including social media manager, website builder, flat roof surveyor, snowboard instructor, and barrister’s clerk!

He is also training in extreme and distorted vocals and “Vocal stunt work”... which has helped in voicing video game characters from Warhammer 40K Battlesector, Evil Wizard and Corepunk.
