Episode 86

Dev Joshi: The one with the Retrofitted Characters!

In this episode of “How Do You Say That?!” sponsored by Voxbox, Dev Joshi joins Sam and Mark to talk about gaming - and rather cleverly we retrofit a gaming script with some entirely new characters. We talk about punctuation, what styles are accessible for kids listening, and the strict timings of gaming lines.

Our VO question this week is all about what to expect in studio when you go for a gaming job - and the things you might not expect after you've signed that NDA!

Script 1

In addition, the laid-over pleat design of Uni-fold benefits from another key feature. The uniform flow of fluid across the entire surface of the filter medium. In contrast, for fan pleat filters, the upstream flow channel of the medium is much more open than the downstream side due to the standard, triangular pleat structure. Consequently, the flow is highest at the bottom of the pleat.

[Speaks seductively] I think... This is the last time we'll see each other. Bye bye.

[Speaks in a joking tone] I highly doubt someone like me can just pray and get lucky, hahaha. Farewell!

[Speaks seductively] Well, I look forward to the next time I see you, honey. At times like this, all you can do is wish for luck.

[Smiles] Haha! I guess jokes aren't really your forte. Tah-tah.

[Speaks in a joking tone] If everything goes well, maybe some light will find this place of destruction, right?
