Episode 81

Curt Hilton: The one with the Newsy Perspective

In this episode of “How Do You Say That?!” sponsored by Voxbox, Curt Hilton joins Sam and Mark to talk about bringing a news script to life - and why all newsreaders seem to have the same rhythmic qualities. We explore how to sell-a-dream for a client, and how to take luxury to spooky by a subtle vocal change. There's also a wildcard on a putting green from a pro golfer!

Our VO question this week is all about voiceover podcasts - and the best tips and tricks we've each picked up from our guests!

Get involved! Have you got a Wildcard suggestion that we should try or an idea for the show? Send it to us via Mark or Sam's social media or email it directly to podcast@britishvoiceover.co.uk
